The attorney will advise on Medicaid eligibility, develop protection strategies, oversee applications and appeals, and counsel families through complex healthcare and financial decisions. Onsite position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Elder Law or related practice.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and NY Bar admission.
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid eligibility rules and crisis planning.

An established New York law firm is seeking an experienced Elder Law Attorney to join its growing practice in Hauppauge. This senior-level opportunity is focused on Elder Law, Medicaid planning, asset protection, long-term care planning, crisis Medicaid matters, and estate planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients regarding Medicaid eligibility and planning.
• Develop asset protection strategies.
• Develop pre-planning and crisis planning solutions.
• Oversee Medicaid applications and appeals.
• Counsel clients regarding long-term care, nursing home placement, and community Medicaid programs.
• Handle estate planning matters.

Qualifications

• Admission to and good standing with the New York State Bar.
• Experience with Elder Law, Medicaid Planning, Estate Planning, Trusts, or Estates.

Work Arrangement

• This position is onsite only at the Hauppauge, NY office.

Compensation

• $150,000-$200,000 salary range.
• Discretionary year-end bonus paid in December.
