Community Law Group in Nashville, TN is seeking an Associate Attorney specializing in Family Law and Criminal Defense to join our hybrid, full-time practice. You will represent clients, manage cases from intake to resolution, and advocate in court and in negotiations.

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee law license.
• 4–5 years of Family Law and/or Criminal Defense experience.
• Strong litigation, negotiation, mediation, research, and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and case management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
• Strategic thinking and sound legal judgment.

As an Associate Attorney, you will represent clients in Family Law and Criminal Defense matters while building trusted relationships within the community.

You will manage cases from consultation through resolution, advocate for clients both in and out of court, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the firm.

• Build and manage a successful caseload in Family Law and Criminal Defense

• Collaborate with team members to support firm-wide goals
• Expand your legal expertise and professional capabilities

Qualifications

Required

• Active Tennessee law license
• Minimum of 4-5 years of Family Law and/or Criminal Defense experience
• Strong litigation, negotiation, mediation, legal research, and legal writing skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and case management abilities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
• Strategic thinking and sound legal judgment

Preferred

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience serving multicultural or immigrant communities
• Experience mentoring junior legal professionals
