Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the agency’s Open Records Officer and Administrative Procedure Coordinator to ensure timely, legally compliant hearings and responses to public records requests.
  • Manage the rulemaking process, including scheduling hearings, court reporters, and drafting amendments and regulations.
  • Facilitate hearings in a neutral, orderly manner with due process for all parties; act as backup hearing officer when needed.
  • Maintain detailed, secure records of hearings, decisions, and case outcomes; oversee records retention and confidentiality compliance.
  • Provide staff training and serve as a subject-matter resource on open records procedures and obligations.
