The Cordele Judicial Circuit Public Defender's Office is seeking to hire an Assistant Public Defender 2 to serve Ben Hill, Crisp, Dooly, and Wilcox Counties. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide competent, zealous, and ethical legal representation to indigent clients charged with criminal offenses in Superior Court. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to indigent defense and possess the knowledge, skills, and professional judgment necessary to effectively perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a Juris Doctorate from an accredited college or university. Applicants must be a current member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia.
