Job summary

Marine Corps Judge Advocates in the United States is seeking 0-3L law students for early responsibility, courtroom and leadership experience, and a pathway to military legal service. You will engage in prosecutorial and defense roles in courts-martial while gaining exposure to ethics, military justice, and administrative law.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or graduated from an ABA accredited law school (0-3L students qualified).
• LSAT 150+ (unless licensed member of a state bar, U.S territory, or the District of Columbia, and have graduated from an ABA accredited law school).
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to meet military commissioning requirements.
• Undergraduate GPA of 2.0 or higher.
• Criminal litigation, Operational and international law, Environmental, labor, and contract law.
• Legal assistance and civil law, LL.M. opportunities funded by the Marine Corps.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trial counsel (prosecutor) or defense counsel in courts-martial.

• Represent clients in appellate proceedings.
