Role Description

This full‑time Attorney role is based on‑site at our Ridgeland, MS office. As an Attorney at DunbarMonroe, you will provide legal counsel on matters involving insurance and trucking defense, labor and employment law, and general litigation. Daily tasks include managing a case to conclusion, developing strategy for the defense, managing other staff, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, handling negotiations. You will collaborate closely with clients, colleagues, and support staff to deliver exceptional legal services to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 8 years litigation and managing cases to conclusion
• Portable business is advantageous, but not required
• Proficiency in federal and state court litigation and motion practice
• Strong skills in conducting comprehensive research and preparing legal documentation
• Effective Negotiation abilities to achieve favorable outcomes
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Licensed to practice law in Mississippi
• Trial experience and background in insurance or trucking litigation a plus
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively and provide solutions under tight deadlines
• History of strong academic credentials required
