A leading North Carolina law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its Raleigh office. This opportunity offers the chance to work on sophisticated commercial and business disputes in a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment with strong client exposure and hands‑on litigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex commercial and business litigation matters in state and federal courts
• Manage cases from inception through resolution, including hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation
• Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery, and legal memoranda
• Take and defend depositions and attend court appearances across North Carolina
• Work closely with clients on litigation strategy, risk analysis, and dispute resolution
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice groups on high‑stakes matters

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial or complex litigation experience
• Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Ability to independently manage cases and client relationships
• Large law firm experience or judicial clerkship preferred
• North Carolina bar admission (or ability to obtain within one year)
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and a fast‑paced caseload
