Job summary

Legal Services of North Florida is seeking a civil practice attorney in our Quincy office to serve low-income and vulnerable individuals. You will work with a team across eight offices, handling civil matters such as family law, guardianship, disaster recovery, veterans' legal services, and real property issues.

Applicants must be admitted to the Florida Bar in good standing; public-interest or legal aid experience is favored.

Legal Services of North Florida hasan opening for a civil practice Attorney. LSNF handles more than 9,700 cases a year anddoes not charge their clients for their legal services. Be a part of anon-profit law firm, with 130+ employees in eight offices across North Florida,that seeks legal justice while understanding the value of work-life balance.Workindependently and as part of a team to obtain positive resultsforclients with a focus on civil law matters such as family law, guardianship, disasterrecovery, veterans' legal services, victims' advocacy, public benefits, andreal property law. This position is located in our Quincy office.

Attorneys at LSNF have the abilityto work collaboratively with superior legal professionals in civil litigationand administrative law to strategize and advocate on behalf of clients and seekjustice. LSNF legal staff also engage in significant litigation including largescale impact work and appellate work. To fulfill the mission to remove barriersto legal access, LSNF carries out community education and outreach withtwo Justice on the Blockmobile response units whereindividuals can speak to an attorney, apply for our services, or haveassistance filing pro se documents.

Applicants should be a member of TheFlorida Bar in good standing, with preference given to candidates with publicinterest or legal aid experience. Candidates must have strong organizationaland communication skills, be comfortable interacting with clients, and have a desire to advocate. Applicants must complete an official Legal Services of North Floridaonline employment application and submit a resume to be considered for thisposition.

Salary offers depend on experience. Applicants who have recently passed the Bar exam but do not have attorney experience can expect an entry salary of $70,000.00. Candidates with ten years of experience or more can expect salary range of $89,600.00 or higher. Candidates with 20 years of experience or more can expect salary range of $110,800.00 or higher.
