Job description

Salary: $110,000–$150,000, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday, In-Office

Experience: 4–10+ years of litigation experience

This is an in-office position, Monday through Friday. The firm strongly prefers attorneys who are comfortable working in the office on a regular basis. While remote opportunities may be available under certain circumstances, candidates should be seeking an in-office opportunity and willing to work in the office as much as possible.

We are seeking an independent, detail-oriented, motivated, and talented Associate or Of Counsel Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong civil litigation experience and the ability to independently manage significant aspects of a case from investigation through trial.

Product liability experience is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Take and defend depositions
• Argue hearings and motions
• Investigate and defend liability matters
• Develop litigation strategies and prepare cases for trial
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents
• Communicate and interact directly with clients
• Work effectively with attorneys, clients, experts, and other team members
• Travel as needed for cases, depositions, hearings, and other legal matters
• Manage cases independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Qualifications

• 4–10+ years of relevant litigation experience
• Strong experience in civil litigation, including one or more of the following:
• Product Liability
• Automotive Products Liability
• Defective Repair
• Experience taking and defending depositions
• Experience arguing hearings
• Strong understanding of investigating and defending liability matters
• Excellent legal writing and communication skills
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of cases
• Trial experience is a plus
• Ability and willingness to travel as required

Education

Candidates should have a strong academic background. Preference will be given to attorneys who graduated from a highly regarded law school and/or graduated in the top 10% of their class.

For candidates who attended lower-tier law schools, candidates should provide class rank (if available), GPA/academic performance, and any honors or distinctions.
