Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Our client, a boutique NYC law firm, is seeking a FAMILY LAW ATTORNEY with 2+ years of NY experience to join its busy and growing team. This is a great opportunity to work on meaningful cases in a mostly REMOTE setting (after onboarding period). The firm represents clients in family law matters, including contested and uncontested divorces, custody disputes, adoptions, and marital property agreements

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in family law matters, including contested and uncontested divorces, custody disputes, adoptions, and marital property agreements.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and agreements.
• Manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to interrogatories and conducting depositions.
• Advocate for clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
• Provide guidance on complex cases involving high-net-worth asset division.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to provide comprehensive legal solutions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of family law experience
• Strong litigation and negotiation skills
• Ability to commute to Midtown, Manhattan for the first month and intermittently for client meetings / occasional in-office collaboration days
