Job Title: Insurance Defence Attorney

Work Schedule: Full Remote (in New York)

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking experienced Insurance Defence Attorneys to join their teams across US. These positions offer the flexibility of a full remote work schedule, with an annual billable hour requirement of 1900 hours. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in insurance coverage law and litigation, capable of evaluating and resolving complex issues to ensure positive outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret insurance policies to assess coverage issues and provide coverage opinions.
• Draft coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, disclaimers, and related correspondence.
• Provide strategic advice to clients on policy interpretation and claims handling.
• Manage insurance coverage cases from inception to resolution, including client updates and ensuring timely progression of cases.
• Collaborate with litigation teams on insurance coverage-related matters, including the preparation of pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Represent clients in coverage disputes, including assisting in settlement negotiations and, when necessary, attending hearings and trials.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in New York/New Jersey or in the United States.
