Overview

We are a prestigious personal injury law firm located in downtown Houston and are seeking an ambitious, dedicated, and passionate lawyer to join our team. Candidate must have four-to-six-years’ experience practicing law and would be assisting with a valuable personal injury docket that has a considerable Jones Act focus. There will also be opportunities to participate in cases attracting nationwide attention.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the job will consist of drafting motion and responses, responding to and sending discovery, and will include significant opportunities to take depositions, argue in court, and attend trials.

Qualifications

• Full time
• Strong academic and litigation background
• Independently manage a caseload from beginning to end
• Work closely with other attorneys and partners on a multitude of legal projects
• Regularly handle court appearances and depositions
• Take the lead with client communications and provide meaningful updates
