King Law is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Morganton, NC office. The position involves client consultations, managing a caseload, research, writing, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court, mediations, and depositions.

We support associates with mentorship, a case manager, and weekly training sessions. Candidates must be licensed members of the North Carolina Bar, in good standing.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice in North Carolina and in good standing.
• Strong research and writing skills required.
• Ability to manage a caseload and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client consultations and manage caseloads from start to finish.
• Perform legal research, draft memoranda and pleadings, and prepare legal documents.
• Attend court, mediations, and depositions as required.
• Support cases through all phases with mentorship and case management support.

Job description

King Law is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our team of legal professionals; the position is based out of the firm’s Morganton, NC office.

King Law is a general practice firm, with 14 locations serving the Carolinas, and focusing on the areas of family law, civil litigation, criminal law, and estates and elder law.

The selected candidate will be responsible for new client consults, managing a caseload, research, writing, drafting legal documents, attending court, mediations, depositions, and all other requirements to navigate cases from start to finish.

Our team will support the selected candidate by providing a mentor, an assigned case manager and weekly training sessions.

While previous law firm and litigation experience is preferred, all levels will be considered.Selected candidate must be a licensed member of the North Carolina Bar, in good standing.

This is a salaried position with quarterly bonus opportunity.
