Job summary

APEX Placement & Consulting partners with a Chicago personal injury firm to hire an experienced Personal Injury Attorney. You will independently manage a personal injury caseload, advocate for clients, conduct research, draft documents, and prepare matters for negotiation and litigation in a client-focused setting.

We seek attorneys with a JD, Illinois bar admission in good standing, and a proven track record in personal injury.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school with active Illinois license.
• Experience handling personal injury cases.
• Strong understanding of personal injury law and litigation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution.
• Advocate for injured clients and pursue fair compensation on their behalf.
• Conduct legal research and analyze case-related issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Prepare cases for negotiation and litigation.
• Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients throughout the legal process.
• Collaborate with legal professionals while taking ownership of assigned cases.
• Monitor case progress, deadlines, documentation, and other case management responsibilities.
