Job summary

Ascendion in California is seeking an experienced insurance defense litigation attorney to handle matters from inception through resolution, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.

You will represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations while managing an independent caseload and collaborating with clients, carriers, and legal teams to develop case strategy.

Qualifications

• 2–10 years of insurance defense litigation experience with strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills with the ability to manage cases independently in a remote environment.

Salary and Other Compensation:

• The annual salary for this position is between $200,000-$250,000 annually, plus bonus. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
