Job summary

Allied Title & Escrow in Ashburn, VA is seeking an associate attorney to join our team. This full-time, in-office role requires admission to the Virginia Bar and a commitment to delivering a high level of closing service.

You will handle closings, draft deeds and contracts, resolve title issues with processing teams, coordinate with underwriting counsel when needed, and communicate with clients and government entities to keep transactions moving smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct closings in offices and out of the office when needed.
• Draft documents in preparation for closing (Deeds, contracts, escrow agreements, etc.).
• Work with processors to solve title issues (breaks in the chain of title, estate issues, legal description discrepancies, etc.).
• Attorneys must communicate internally with the Allied Title processing team and externally with clients, government entities, surveyors, etc. to facilitate title issue resolution.
• If needed, attorneys must coordinate with underwriting counsel.

Day to Day Job Responsibilities
