Medical Director Services PC (MDS PC) in Granville, NY is seeking an Attending Physician (MD/DO) at a skilled nursing facility. The role is full-time with a competitive salary ranging from $150,000 to $300,000+ per year and RVU eligibility, along with malpractice coverage and regulatory support.

Qualifications

• Active NYS medical license (MD or DO)
• Current DEA registration in good standing
• Up to date CME requirements
• Experience in SNF, long-term care, or managed care settings preferred
• Comfort working with a culturally and linguistically diverse resident population

Responsabilités

• Perform admissions, monthly, acute & routine visits for SNF residents, on a regulatory and as-needed basis
• Collaborate with APPs on your units
• Manage medication decisions, including narcotics and psychiatric meds
• Lead care planning, discharge planning, and ongoing staff education
• Support the facility through regulatory and survey site visits
• Coordinate with local hospitals to ensure continuity of care for residents
