Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking an Attending Physician to oversee primary medical care for residents at our skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. You will work with a dedicated NP/PA to ensure high-quality patient care and collaborate with the care team.

This role offers growth potential into Medical Director/Attending Physician leadership and expanded administrative responsibilities within the organization.

Qualificações

• A board-certified physician with experience in primary care and long-term care (LTC).

• Must stand and walk on facility floors; manage equipment and assist with exams.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the primary care provider for residents in SNFs/LTC facilities.
• Conduct patient rounds with NPs/PAs to assess and manage resident care.
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and oversee chronic conditions.
• Discuss treatment plans and advance care with residents and families.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with regulations.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and specialists to provide comprehensive care.

Job Summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking an Attending Physician to take on the responsibility of overseeing and managing the primary medical care for residents at our facilities. In this role, you will act as the primary care provider for the patients, ensuring their overall health and well-being. You will have a dedicated full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to support you in this role, working collaboratively with you to provide excellent patient care.

This position offers a unique opportunity for professional growth, with the potential to evolve into a Medical Director/Attending Physician leadership role for candidates interested in expanding their clinical and administrative responsibilities within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary care provider for residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), taking responsibility for their medical management
• Conduct patient rounds, collaborating with NPs and PAs to assess and manage resident care
• Diagnose and treat patients with acute illnesses while overseeing the management of ongoing medical conditions
• Discuss treatment plans, prognosis, and advance care planning with residents and their families
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations
• Work closely with nurses, therapists, and specialists to provide comprehensive care

Requirements

• A board-certified physician with experience in primary care and long-term care (LTC).
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively support and mentor NPs and PAs in delivering care.
• Must stand and walk on facility floors. Must carry a medical bag, laptop, tablet or diagnostic equipment. Must bend, stoop, or assist with positioning during exams. Must navigate multi-level buildings, potentially with stairs or uneven surfaces. Must lift/move patients.
