Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking an Attending Physician to oversee primary medical care for residents at our Skilled Nursing Facility network. You will serve as the primary care provider, supported by a dedicated full-time NP or PA to work with you to deliver excellent patient care.

This part-time role (one day per week) offers meaningful impact, a collaborative team, and a focus on senior care.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician with primary care and LTC experience.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor NPs and PAs.
• Ability to stand/walk on facility floors, lift/move equipment, and navigate multi-level buildings.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary medical care for SNF residents.
• Perform rounds and coordinate with NPs/PAs.
• Diagnose illnesses and manage chronic conditions.
• Discuss treatment plans and advance care with residents and families.

Job Summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking an Attending Physician to take on the responsibility of overseeing and managing the primary medical care for residents at our facilities. In this role, you will act as the primary care provider for the patients, ensuring their overall health and well-being. You will have a dedicated full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to support you in this role, working collaboratively with you to provide excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary care provider for residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), taking responsibility for their medical management
• Conduct patient rounds, collaborating with NPs and PAs to assess and manage resident care
• Diagnose and treat patients with acute illnesses while overseeing the management of ongoing medical conditions
• Discuss treatment plans, prognosis, and advance care planning with residents and their families
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations
• Work closely with nurses, therapists, and specialists to provide comprehensive care

Requirements

• A board-certified physician with experience in primary care and long-term care (LTC).
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively support and mentor NPs and PAs in delivering care.
• Prolonged standing and walking on facility floors. Carrying a medical bag, laptop, tablet or diagnostic equipment. Bending, stooping, or assisting with positioning during exams. Navigating multi-level buildings, potentially with stairs or uneven surfaces. Lifting/moving patients.
