Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Tejon is seeking a friendly Bussers/Service Support team member to help provide efficient guest experiences in the Food Hall. You will clean, reset tables, assist guests at self-service kiosks, and ensure smooth order flow.

You should be capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 40 lbs, and handling cash transactions with accuracy. On-the-job training is provided, and a flexible schedule is required to cover varied shifts in a busy casino environment.

Serves as technology ambassador, assisting guests with the use of the self-service kiosks or mobile (on Demand) ordering systems.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Tejon their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.Replenishes and garnishes food as necessary.Serves food as necessary.Maintains a neat and sanitary appearance of assigned work area, serving utensils and equipment.Ensures all dishware, utensils and equipment are cleaned and stored properly at the end of shiftEnsures all unused food items are stored properly.Maintains work area in a safe condition, taking care of spills and other hazards as necessary.Ensures that stock delivered from warehouse is put away in proper storage areas in a timely manner.Ensures that Food Hall is cleaned and maintained throughout shiftRemains current on kiosk/mobile order work flows and assists guests with placing orders, payments, etc.Process occasional cash or non-cash transactions that are not optimized for self-ordering.Expedite complete food orders as neededAttend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSThis knowledge and these abilities are typically acquired through two months of on-the-job training.SKILLSPresent an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance.Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests.Ability to restock needed materials and retrieve dropped items.Use a cash register.Distinguish between different denominations of currency and make correct change.Read ticket totals, total credit vouchers and log checks.Use machines and equipment including, but not limited to: include cash register system, credit card machines, and calculator.PHYSICAL DEMANDSAbility to stand and sit for extended periods of time.Ability to walk distances.Ability to lift 30 to 40 lbs.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell.
