Job summary

Holland America Line is seeking a Laundry Attendant to support the Rooms Division at the Holland America Skagway Inn. This seasonal, full-time role focuses on delivering clean, fresh linens and maintaining high cleanliness standards to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.

Responsibilities include handling entry-level laundry tasks, supporting hotel and F&B teams, and assisting housekeeping as needed. Must be at least 18 and legally eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Minimum age of 18 to reside in company housing, where available.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; Holland America-Prinship cannot sponsor visas at this time.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of entry-level laundry cleaning tasks.
• Routinely processes laundry items in compliance with company standards that support our hotel and food & beverage teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs a variety of entry-level laundry cleaning tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must pass a pre-employment background check.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

• Ability to lift and/or carry objects weighing up to a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to prioritize work, and maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment. You must also have the ability to organize work, meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail and accuracy, and supervise and manage staff.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
• Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
• Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
