Job summary

CoralTree Hospitality Group is seeking a Laundry Attendant for RiverPlace Hotel in Portland, OR. You will work within the housekeeping team to monitor and maintain linens, towels, and laundry supplies, ensuring items are ready for service and guest needs are met.

This role requires attention to detail, ability to stand for long periods, and flexibility with shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Training provided; the team values safety, cleanliness, and reliable operation of laundry

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred, but we will train the right attitude.
• Demonstrates clean technique, proper chemical handling, and safe use of laundry equipment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Overview

Are you ready to help shape the future Portland’s riverfront hospitality landscape? CoralTree is seeking a Laundry Attendantto join our team atRiverPlace Hotel located in Portland, OR. As a Laundry Attendant you will work within the housekeeping department to monitor and maintain the availability of necessary linens and towels. You will work closely with other departments within the property to remain informed and ready with the daily necessities of the operation.

About the Property:

RiverPlace Hotel boasts 85 upscale guest rooms and suites. The hotel is a short walk from the Tom McCall Waterfront Park in Downtown Portland. The hotel offers a quieter side of downtown Portland where waterfront paths, marina views, and city bridges all make up the experience of the hotel’s overlook of the Willamette River. The waterfront RiverPlace Kitchen + Bar offers a diverse menu specializing in fresh seafood and alfresco dining. Guest’s favorites include the communal living room and urban landscape.

Responsibilities

• Take pride in your work by monitoring and maintaining safety, cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of laundry facilities, equipment, and storage areas.
• Be proactive in removing from circulation any torn or stained linen for reclaim or discard according to standards.
• Maintain complete knowledge of proper maintenance and use of equipment. Follow the required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing of, or moving objects/materials and/or the clean‑up of hazardous materials in accordance with the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen Standards. Promptly report any damages or maintenance problems.

Qualifications

• Experience. Previous related experience is helpful, but we will train the right attitude!
• Knowledge. Must understand proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and the requirements for use of housekeeping equipment.
• Strengths. Must work well with others, have an eye for detail, and have the ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Flexibility. This is a demanding business and we look for flexibility with work days and hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
