Job summary

Kansas City Residence Inn is hiring for a full-time Breakfast Attendant/C&B role at our Kansas City, MO location. You will prepare and present the complimentary breakfast and evening reception, keeping areas clean and guest-ready.

You’ll greet guests, assist with questions, and support various service areas as needed. Join our team to help maintain food safety standards, ensure quality, and learn in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No experience? No problem—training provided.
• Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness certifications (or willingness to obtain within 60 days)
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs during your shift
• Flexible availability for days, nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Prepare, present, and maintain the complimentary breakfast and/or evening reception.
• Keep buffets, service areas, tables, and equipment clean and stocked.
• Greet guests with a friendly, helpful attitude and answer questions professionally.
• Support light food prep, restocking, bussing tables, or bar/service areas as needed.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards for a safe environment.
• Monitor food quality and storage temperatures during shifts.
• Work as a team to keep service running smoothly and communicate updates during handoffs.
• Adhere to safety, security, and company policies and report issues.

Job Description

What You Will Do:

• Set the stage for a great guest experience by preparing, presenting, and maintaining our complimentary breakfast and/or evening reception
• Keep everything clean, stocked, and guest-ready—buffets, service areas, tables, and equipment
• Greet guests with a friendly, helpful attitude and handle questions or concerns quickly and professionally
• Jump in where needed—whether that’s light food prep, restocking, bussing tables, or supporting bar/service areas
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a safe, clean environment for guests and team members
• Monitor food quality, proper storage, and temperature standards throughout your shift
• Work as part of a team to keep service running smoothly and efficiently
• Communicate key updates during shift changes to keep everyone aligned
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies, and report any issues as needed
