Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, as directed by supervisors.
• Supervise clients during activities to ensure safety.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Report significant changes in client’s condition or environment to supervisors.
• Monitor client environment for safety hazards and take appropriate action.

Qualifications

• Must have a cheerful and helpful attitude, especially in stressful situations.
• Ability to effectively perform duties and support team members.
• Competency in personal assistance services as defined by TAC 40 Chapter 97, suitable for individuals 18+ with demonstrated skills.
• Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions.
• Complete required training.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, reaching, and walking during over 75% of shifts.
• Ability to recognize sounds and respond appropriately.
• Patience, tact, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Work with minimal supervision, recognizing the importance of accuracy.
• Observe changes in clients' appearance, attitude, and condition.
