Job Summary:
We are seeking a Banquet Setup Attendant to join our team. The Attendant is responsible for the efficient and timely setup of banquets, meetings, and other events. This includes physically setting up room configurations, carrying and lifting tables, chairs, staging equipment, and other items necessary for successful events. The Attendant must maintain the cleanliness and organization of all function spaces, including storage rooms, and ensure all equipment is in proper working order.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Experience in banquet setup preferred but not required
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities
  • Flexibility with schedule, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and breakdown banquet functions according to standards
  • Carry and lift tables, chairs, staging equipment, and other items
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all function spaces and storage rooms
  • Ensure equipment is in working order and report issues
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Coordinate with event staff for successful execution
  • Follow safety procedures and policies
