Job summary

A reputable transportation service provider seeks a dedicated individual for a full-time role in California. This position involves assisting clients, including those with disabilities, during transportation. Responsibilities include monitoring client behavior, supporting drivers, and ensuring a safe environment. Ideal candidates should possess a high school diploma, customer service skills, and be aged 21 or older. Must also pass background checks and drug clearance. Competitive salary offered.

Qualifications

• Must have some prior work experience (one year preferred).
• Must pass Drug/Alcohol clearance.
• Must pass DOJ Background check - No Felonies/ No Misdemeanors.
• Must be 21 and older.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients during transportation to and from their pick up and drop off locations.
• Monitor client’s behavior and note any problems that may occur during transport.
• Assist driver with pick up and delivery of physically and developmentally disabled clients.
• Be attentive to passengers while transporting.
• Be available to work assigned schedule.
• Assist driver with GPS when needed.
• Wear required uniform daily.
• Clock in/out daily.
• Take required lunch breaks.
• Assist drivers when backing up/parking.
• Report incidents/accidents to DISPATCH.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Assist driver with pick up and delivery of physically and developmentally disabled clients.
• Be attentive to passengers on transit while transporting.- No Texting or Sleeping on routes
• Be available to work assigned schedule
• Must be able to assist driver with GPS when needed
• Must wear required uniform daily
• Must clock in/ out daily
• Must be responsible for taking required Lunch breaks
• Must assist drivers when backing up/ parking
• Incidents/Accidents that occur must be reported to DISPATCH. NO EXCEPTIONS

Split Shift: hours vary
