Monroe School District Maltby Elementary in Snohomish, WA seeks an Outreach Specialist – Attendance Intervention to support at-risk students district-wide and coordinate BECCA processes with the Snohomish County court system.

The position serves as BECCA liaison, helps establish the Community Truancy Board, and works flexible hours to accommodate families, with a focus on collaboration among schools, families, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services or equivalent experience.
• Two years of experience working with at-risk youth.
• Demonstrated word processing and database skills.
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated organizational and management skills.
• Experience working with school and community groups.
• Familiar with counseling and wraparound services.
• Familiar with Motivational Interviewing.

Responsabilités

• Identify at-risk students districtwide and coordinate BECCA processes.
• Support students and families; coordinate with counselors and community partners.
• Maintain accurate databases and attendance records.
• Coordinate Monroe Community Truancy Board and liaise with court system.
• Flexible schedule to meet deadlines and after-hours needs.
