Job summary

CAC I International Inc. seeks a Senior Attack Surface Testing SME to lead continuous assessment of federal cyber assets, including safe enumeration, validation, and rapid remediation guidance. You will direct junior engineers, adjudicate high-risk findings, and collaborate with Cloud/DevOps and AI-supported teams to deliver high-confidence assessments.

This role supports the CDM mission and requires U.S. citizenship with eligibility for a Public Trust (High Risk).

Qualifications

• Five or more years of attack-surface management or related security experience, including leadership.
• Deep knowledge of DNS, TLS/PKI, HTTP/S, TCP/IP, and cloud-hosting patterns.
• Strong automation skills using Python, Go, Bash, APIs, and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous attack-surface enumeration and vulnerability discovery.
• Design scan architecture, asset-attribution logic, and deconfliction safeguards for large-scale assessment.
• Mentor junior engineers; review findings, evidence, and remediation recommendations.
• Prioritize risk using exposure, exploitability, asset criticality, and mission impact.
• Lead rapid analysis of exposed or high-risk assets and coordinate urgent notifications and closures.
• Define automation, data normalization, dashboards, and AI-assisted triage.
• Produce recurring reports, trend analyses, and customer briefings.
