Job summary

ShorePoint in Albuquerque, NM, seeks a Senior Attack Surface Management Engineer to identify and reduce exposure across enterprise IT/OT environments. You will analyze external and internal attack surfaces, prioritize remediation based on risk, and partner with threat hunting, vulnerability mgmt and engineering teams to improve defensive posture.

Applicants must have 10+ years of relevant experience, a U.S. citizenship eligibility for security clearance, and a Bachelor’s degree.

• Experience in attack surface management or exposure analysis.
• Ability to prioritize remediation based on risk and impact.
• Strong written and verbal communication across teams.
• Experience collaborating with operations, engineering, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess attack surface exposure across systems and assets.
• Support risk assessments and prioritize remediation by threat relevance.
• Partner with threat hunting, vulnerability management, and engineering teams.
• Recommend and support implementation of technical controls to reduce exploitability.
• Track findings and measure closure of security gaps.
