Job summary

CAE Inc. in Eagan, Minnesota is seeking a Part Time ATP/CTP 737 Sim/ Ground School Instructor to join our training department. The role requires 8–10 days of availability per month and involves delivering ATP/CTP instruction to pilots in a customer-focused environment.

Ideal candidates possess an unrestricted ATP with 737 type rating, at least 2 years of Part 121 experience, and comfortable handling records in accordance with CAE/FAA policies. On-site, on-call, fixed-term position.

• Unrestricted ATP certificate with 737 type rating.
• Minimum of 2 years Part 121 experience.
• Basic computer proficiency – Microsoft Office and other internet based programs.
• Must be able and willing to participate in CAE’s DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide ATP/CTP ground school and 737 simulator instruction.
• Schedule availability of 8 to 10 days per month and coordinate with the training calendar.
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with CAE and FAA requirements.
• Deliver customer-focused instruction and adapt to diverse trainee needs.
• Ensure safety and compliance during training and assessments.

What to expect? CAE offers a comprehensive training program to help transform your knowledge and skills as a pilot into a world-class Instructor and subject matter expert ready to lead clients thru their training.

How does schedule work: We ask that you can provide 8 to 10 days of availability per month. You provide us your availability at the end of prior month then we will do our best to get you scheduled based on business needs.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous simulator instructor experience.
• Previous aviation training, coaching, or instructional experience.
• Experience delivering instruction in a customer-focused training environment.
• Experience adapting learning approaches to meet individual trainee needs.
