Job summary

Everforth ECS seeks a Senior Atlassian Engineer / Migration Lead to work remotely for a federal client. You will administer Jira and Confluence, analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements to improve collaboration and workflow efficiency across the tool suite.

The role includes leading migration efforts to Atlassian Government Cloud and guiding a small team of migration developers/engineers.

Qualifications

  • US Citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree or 7 years relevant experience.
  • 7+ years experience administering Jira and Confluence for software development/ops teams.
  • Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) within Jira.
  • Experience developing dashboards and filters for leadership metrics.
  • Data modeling and scalable configuration for large organizations.
  • Experience with Atlassian Datacenter migration to SaaS (Gov Cloud).
  • Extensive development with Atlassian Forge.

Everforth ECS is seeking a Senior Atlassian Engineer /Migration Lead to work remotely.

We are seeking a creative, meticulous, and tenacious Atlassian Engneer to join our team supporting a federal customer. In this role, you will work directly with customers and stakeholders to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements across the Atlassian tool suite to improve collaboration, streamline workflows, and support mission delivery. You will serve as an administrator for Jira and Confluence environments—configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the platforms to meet evolving project and organizational needs. The Atlassian Engineer will also help translate business requirements into technical configurations, document system processes, and deliver user training to ensure adoption and effectiveness. This position offers the opportunity to apply both technical expertise and business analysis skills to deliver impactful, scalable solutions that enable teams to operate efficiently in a dynamic federal environment. This opportunity will be assisting Atlassian Datacenter migration to Atlassian Government Cloud (SaaS). This opportunity is to lead a few migration developers/engineers.

Salary Range: $150,000-$180,000

Required Skills
  • US Citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban and how they are implemented within Jira
  • Experience developing dashboards and advanced filters to provide performance metrics and operational insights for leadership
  • Familiarity with forms and reporting design, data modeling, and scalable configuration solutions for large organizations
  • Prior experience supporting customers in a federal consulting or government contracting environment
  • Experience with Atlassian Datacenter migration to SaaS (Atlassian Government Cloud) environment
  • Extensive development experience with Atlassian Forge
Desired Skills
  • Atlassian certifications such as Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator or Atlassian Certified Confluence Administrator
  • Demonstrated experience to lead the team of Atlassian engineers
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging the Atlassian Tool Suite to design, prototype, and implement solutions that improve team productivity
  • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence configuration and support, including management of plug-ins, extensions, and integrations
  • Strong ability to create and manage complex Jira workflows, custom fields, screens, permission schemes, and notification schemes
  • Experience managing Confluence spaces, including page design, templates, and integration with Jira
  • Proven ability to gather and analyze business requirements, optimize workflows, and align tool configurations with business processes
  • Experience performing general administrative duties in Jira and Confluence, including user management, permissions, and access control to ensure compliance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document configurations and develop user training materials
