Job summary

Vatn Systems is seeking an experienced SEIT specialist to lead integrations between Jira and Confluence and our internal systems. You will design pipelines, APIs, and automations to keep Jira/Confluence in sync with internal tooling, enabling reliable data flow across engineering data and program management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on work in the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
• Experience building on Atlassian APIs (REST API, Jira/Confluence Cloud or Server) and/or Atlassian Forge or Connect.
• Strong communicator with non-technical stakeholders.
• U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Design and build integrations between Jira/Confluence and internal tools
• Facilitate data sync and workflow automation between Jira/Confluence and internal systems (e.g., issue tracking, reporting, provisioning, notifications)
• Work with stakeholders across engineering, systems engineering, program management, and ops to understand workflows and translate them into integration requirements
• Troubleshoot and maintain existing integrations; monitor for reliability and data integrity issues
• Maintain data integrity and traceability across integrated systems (requirements, test data, configuration data, etc.)
• Document integration architecture and decisions for the team
