GlobalLogic Inc. is seeking an experienced Jira and Confluence Developer to design, build, and maintain Atlassian tooling for enterprise Agile delivery and program governance.

You will configure and extend Jira/Confluence, automate workflows, and build integrations for real-time visibility across technology and management teams. The ideal candidate combines hands-on Atlassian administration and development skills with Agile; SAFe; and portfolio-level reporting.

Qualifications

• Design, configure, and maintain Jira projects, workflows, issue types, custom fields, and schemes for enterprise Agile and SAFe.
• Build and maintain Jira automation rules and ScriptRunner scripts to enforce process consistency.
• Develop and manage Confluence spaces, templates, macros, and page structures for documentation and reporting.
• Create dashboards, filters, and reports (JQL, eazyBI, or BI tools) for real-time status and risks.

Responsibilities

• Administer Jira Cloud and Data Center, including migrations and upgrades.
• Integrate Jira/Confluence with CI/CD, test management, ITSM, and collaboration tools via REST APIs and webhooks.
• Ensure governance, permissions, and compliance across large teams.

• Build and maintain Jira automation rules and ScriptRunner scripts to eliminate manual effort and enforce process consistency
• Develop and manage Confluence spaces, templates, macros, and page structures for documentation, knowledge sharing, and program reporting
• Create dashboards, filters, and reports (JQL, eazyBI, or BI tools) that give program managers and leadership real-time status, risk, and dependency visibility
• Develop integrations between Jira/Confluence and other platforms (CI/CD, test management, ITSM, collaboration tools) using REST APIs and webhooks
• Administer permissions, user groups, and governance standards to keep access secure and compliant
• Gather requirements from Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Program Managers, and QA leads, and deliver scalable configuration solutions
• Support migrations, upgrades, plugin evaluations, and performance tuning of the Atlassian environment
• Troubleshoot and resolve user issues, and provide training, documentation, and best-practice guidance to teams
• Maintain configuration documentation, change logs, and release notes for all Atlassian changes
• Partner with cross-functional and vendor teams to standardize tooling and reporting across programs

Job responsibilities

• Atlassian certifications (ACP-100, ACP-120, ACP-600, or similar)
• Experience with Jira Cloud and Data Center, including migrations and upgrades
• Integration experience with tools such as GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, ServiceNow, Slack/Teams, and test management or automation platforms
• Experience with Forge or Connect app development
• Familiarity with SSO/SAML, SQL, and enterprise governance and compliance requirements
• Experience in telecom, large-scale enterprise, or multi-vendor delivery environments
