Job summary

Medical Director Services PC in Atlanta seeks an Attending Physician (MD/DO) with wound care expertise to lead medical services in the region. The role requires GA licensure, active DEA, and CME compliance, with a focus on quality care, policy development, and staff education.

Qualifications

• GA licensure to practice medicine.
• Current DEA Registration, in good standing
• CME licensure requirements
• Knowledge of health center licensing and operations in a managed care environment
• Experience in wound care management
• Leadership in culturally and linguistically diverse settings
• Culturally aware and sensitive to the population

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of quality care to all patients in a respectful, professional manner.
• Participate in planning, development, and organization of medical services.
• Develop and review medical policies related to patient care.
• Conduct initial and ongoing physical examinations.
• Provide evaluation and management of acute and chronic wounds with treatment plans.
• Offer medical training and education to staff as part of comprehensive care planning and discharge planning.
• Assist in regulatory site visits preparation.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and ensure compliance in clinical care.
• Order, evaluate, adjust, and terminate medications and discuss changes with patients.
