Qualifications

  • Active Georgia RN license required.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Experience in nursing leadership or management.
  • Strong wound care background; CWOCN/CWCN/WCC certification preferred.
  • Experience with staff education, quality improvement and clinical program development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight for wound care services.
  • Establish evidence-based wound care practices and protocols.
  • Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff involved in wound management.
  • Evaluate patients with complex wounds and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor wound healing, patient outcomes, and quality indicators.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and clinical standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve continuity and quality of care.
  • Identify opportunities to improve wound care processes and patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and training to nursing staff on wound management.
  • Assist with program development, performance improvement, and clinical initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Previous nursing leadership or management experience.
  • Strong clinical background in wound care and complex wound management.
  • Wound care certification such as WCC, CWCN, CWOCN, or comparable credential preferred.
  • Experience with staff education, quality improvement, and clinical program development.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
