Job summary

You will lead defense matters, negotiate settlements, attend depositions and hearings, and mentor junior staff while pushing for innovative, efficient client outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of workers' compensation defense practice.
• Portable book of business preferred but not required.
• Licensed to practice law in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Assess new files to establish action plans and budgets.
• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals.
• Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
• Attend depositions and hearings, providing thorough reports.
• Negotiate settlements and prepare for trial as needed.
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.
