Northside Hospital Inc. in Atlanta is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in alignment with physician orders and established guidelines.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure in good standing and BLS certification; BSN degree is preferred. ACLS/PALS or other certifications are a plus. The position features a 7AM–7PM shift with opportunities for professional growth in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as RN in Georgia in good standing.
• Must hold BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and guidelines.
• Adhere to established nursing guidelines and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
• Care for patients across units as assigned by the unit leadership.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

7AM -7PM
