Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and established guidelines, within the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Georgia RN license in good standing, and BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include a BSN, two years of RN experience, and ACLS/PALS/NRP or other unit certifications.

Formación

• BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required.

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
2. Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
3. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

1. BSN degree
2. Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
3. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
4. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
