Job summary

Florida Gulf Coast University Athletics is seeking an experienced Athletics Videographer to manage all aspects of video production, from concept to final deliverables, to reinforce the FGCU Athletics brand across internal and external audiences.

You will lead pre-production, filming, editing, and post-production for 15 NCAA DI sports, recruit talents, maintain equipment, and drive workflow improvements in a fast-paced collegiate environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 1 year full-time experience, or five years relevant experience.
• Professional full-time experience in video production, concept development, filming and editing.
• Experience with non-linear editing software, such as Adobe Premiere.
• Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee video production from pre-production to archiving.
• Produce advertising, highlights, event and feature videos for 15 NCAA DI sports and sponsor videos.
• Recruit and schedule talent for shoots in line with policies.
• Operate and maintain cameras, audio, video recorders, and production equipment.
• Suggest workflow improvements and implement new processes.
• Review progress and evaluate results.
• May provide training in videography, editing, storytelling and content creation.
