Job summary

Wake Forest University is seeking a Transfer Coordinator & Academic Counselor in the Department of Athletics. You will provide academic counseling and coordinate transfer admissions for student-athletes, ensuring NCAA eligibility and Wake Forest admission requirements are met.

You will evaluate transcripts, communicate with coaches and staff, track progress, and develop individualized academic plans to support student-athletes’ educational goals within a competitive athletics program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 years advising student-athletes at the Division I level.
• Experience in Division I NCAA Compliance, University Admissions, or University Registrar's Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transfer admission process for prospective student-athletes.
• Evaluate transcripts and communicate progress toward degree requirements.
• Communicate with coaches, academics, and compliance staff daily.
