Job summary

Bethel Park School District is seeking an Assistant Athletic Director to provide administrative leadership for interscholastic athletic programs. The role includes planning, coordinating, supervising, and evaluating athletic activities, events, and staff in alignment with district policies and community expectations.

The successful candidate will coordinate event staffing, manage attendance and schedules, support compliance efforts, and promote sportsmanship and teamwork among students and staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate Degree; degree in Sports Management preferred
• Minimum 4 years experience in related field
• Excellent administrative, leadership, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Attend and manage athletic events as assigned
• Coordinate staff scheduling for events
• Prepare end-of-season information packets for coaches
• Assist with Title IX Compliance Report
• Coordinate purchasing of Varsity Jackets
• Serve as primary social media coordinator for athletic news
• Communicate staffing needs and event requirements to district departments
• Oversee facility scheduling and coordination with maintenance and security
