Job summary

Miami University is seeking an Assistant Director of Sport & Facility, Athletics Operations to oversee equipment, inventory, and operations for assigned teams and venues (including Millett Hall). You will manage budgeting, ordering, maintenance, and staff supervision to ensure reliable athletic operations.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Sports/Athletic Administration or related field, AEMA Certification, and relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a sports/athletic field or related area is required.
• AEMA certification is required or strongly preferred.
• Experience with inventory, equipment management, and budgets is expected.

Responsibilities

• Issue athletic equipment & apparel for assigned teams and locations.
• Prepare and order equipment within allocated budget.
• Maintain and repair equipment, apparel, and locker rooms.
• Inventory athletic equipment and apparel for assigned teams.
• Launder equipment and apparel and related supplies.
• Assist in equipment budget management and vendor relations.
• Supervise and develop assigned student managers.
