Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
3–5 years in intercollegiate athletics or a related administrative environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable productivity software.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the day-to-day internal operations of the athletics department.
Develop, implement, and maintain standardized departmental procedures.
Coordinate communication among athletics administration, coaches, and campus departments.
Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
Ensure departmental policies align with institutional policies and NCAA requirements.
Provide oversight and support to assigned athletic programs.
Assist coaches with scheduling, travel, purchasing, equipment, facilities, staffing, and other operational needs.
Budget development, monitoring, and financial planning in collaboration with leadership.
Coordinate department-wide athletic schedules and competition logistics.
Support game-day operations and event management.
