Job summary

Pueblo School District 60 in Grand Junction, CO, is seeking an Athletics Coordinator to manage day-to-day athletic facilities, schedule events, hire and train hourly workers, and oversee ticketing and concessions systems for district events.

This exempt, 220 work day position requires a high school diploma, plus a BA in a related field and two years of athletic program experience; CPR/First Aid within 3 months, and background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BA Degree in Business, Education, Physical Education, Recreation, Athletics, or related field and two years of athletic program experience.
• Within 3 months of hire, obtain First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification.
• Fingerprint background check required by HR.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Schedule facilities and events for district athletics.
• Hire, train, supervise athletic workers.
• Maintain electronic ticketing and concession systems.
• Coordinate with security, vendors, and facilities staff.
