Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Athletics Facilities with day-to-day tasks.
• Support Game Operations Staff in various in-game areas: setup/breakdown for events, run scoreboard/clock.
• Run music during games and operate videoboard.
• Operate ticket scanner or greet attendees; provide customer service to fans.
• Assist visiting teams and officials as they arrive at venues.
• Support marketing and promotions staff for events, presentations or initiatives.
• Manual labor may include lifting over 50lbs, adverse weather, long periods of standing; nights/weekends/holidays possible.

Job description

Assist the athletic department throughout the year with day-to-day operations and home events in all sports.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Athletics Facilities and Operations with day-to-day tasks
• Assist Game Operations Staff in a variety of in-game/game preparation areas; that may include the following:
  • Setup and breakdown for all events – light maintenance and custodial work may be required
  • Run a scoreboard or clock during assigned games or as needed
  • Run music during games
  • Operate videoboard
  • Operate ticket scanner or greet at events
  • Serve as a customer service representative – being prepared to answer questions and engage with fans
  • Assist with visiting team and officials arrivals to venues
  • Assist marketing and promotions staff with any special events, presentations, or initiatives

Manual labor may include lifting objects in excess of 50lbs, working in adverse weather, and standing for long periods of time. Nights, weekends and university holidays may also be required.
