Job summary

Opt For Healthy Living is seeking a Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant within Athletics. The role runs from August 17, 2026 to May 31, 2027, with potential reappointment based on budget and performance.

Responsibilities include game-day operations such as pregame setup, ticketing, P.A. announcing, scoreboard control, music, ushering, and event setup/cleanup. Evening and weekend availability is preferred. Minimum unit requirements apply for students.

Position available on or after August 17, 2026 and ending on or before May 31, 2027. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.

• Handle game ticketing operations.
• Serve as the public address (P.A.) announcer during games.
• Operate the digital scoreboard throughout the game.
• Play approved music during game events.
• Assist with seating and manage the crowd as an usher.
• Mop the court during indoor games to maintain player safety.
• Oversee ball management duties on game days.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
• Post‑baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.

Salary

$16.90 per hour.
