Job summary

Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, seeks an Assistant/Associate Director of Athletics for Administration and Operations to join the Athletics, Fitness & Recreation leadership team. The role provides oversight of sport supervision, business operations, event management, and strategic initiatives, collaborating with coaches, staff, and campus partners to enhance the student-athlete experience.

The successful candidate will show strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in collegiate athletics, higher education, or a related field.
• Demonstrated understanding of NCAA Division III philosophy and operations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the sport administrator for assigned varsity programs.
• Assist with departmental budget planning, monitoring, and financial operations.
• Plan and execute home contests and conference championships.
• Collaborate with campus partners to ensure adherence to institutional policies.
• Support NCAA, conference, and institutional compliance efforts.
