Job summary

University of South Florida Athletics is hiring a Motion Graphic Designer to create and deliver motion graphics for in-game production, LED features, and digital/social content while upholding the university’s brand identity.

You will collaborate with design and video teams to push the boundaries of motion graphics, contribute to brand consistency, and adapt to a fast-paced sports environment with non-traditional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, animation, or related field with two years of experience.
• Four years relevant experience with motion graphics in college or professional athletics is preferred.
• Degree Equivalency Clause SB 1310 referenced as substitution guidance.

Responsibilities

• Establishes, oversees and develops motion graphic design projects from concept to delivery including animations for videos, game presentation features, in-venue experiences and LED content.
• Creates original motion designs ensuring consistent visual identity and brand standards across departments.
• Assists with production shoots, including shot lists and asset capture for in-venue and social/digital content.
• Presents concepts with storyboards and design samples; performs fact-checking and maintains art/video consistency.
• Supports training of staff and interns and assists with other static design needs as workload requires.
• Maintains file organization and asset management across platforms and software.
