Job summary

Indiana State University Athletics seeks a Media Relations Coordinator to promote and publicize the department’s efforts and to serve as the primary media contact for baseball and other sports as assigned.

The role coordinates news coverage, works with photographers, and handles press materials, media guides, and weekly releases. A Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years in sports information or media relations are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; experience in sports information or media relations is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant social media/graphics tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee public relations for assigned Division I sport programs.
• Serve as primary media contact for sport programs and coordinate coverage.
• Develop and edit media materials, press releases, and media guides.
