Northern Arizona University seeks a Senior Director of Development to lead NAU Athletics fundraising. You will cultivate and solicit major gifts from individuals, foundations, and corporations, with a focus on gifts of $50,000 or more, and coordinate strategy with campus partners to advance NAU’s Elevate campaign.

You will manage a major gifts portfolio, set fundraising goals, supervise the Athletics Development team, and serve as a strategic partner to Advancement | Foundation colleagues,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in communications, marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant fundraising experience.

Responsabilités

• Prioritize, engage and manage a major gifts portfolio of prospects capable of philanthropically supporting NAU Athletics strategic priorities.
• Annually solicit and lead the development of complex proposals for high-net worth individuals, corporations and foundations and close major gifts of $50,000 or more in support of NAU Athletics.
• Collaborate on principal-level fundraising of $1M or more in support of NAU and campaign priorities.
• Coordinate cultivation-solicitation-stewardship cycles and work university-wide to support Athletics fundraising priorities.
• Provide updates and strategic recommendations to Advancement | Foundation leadership.
